Hello! My name is Layke Burke, and I’m a Centerburg High School senior. I’ve grown up and lived in Centerburg, Ohio and spent my time taking care of farm animals and learning to see the beauty in small life. From raising lambs and puppies to cultivating plants, I think that my childhood spent around delicate creatures has given me an outlook on life that focuses on the details. Since elementary school, I have been involved in choir and band, as well as advanced programs that allowed me to perform research and dive into ecology. Given my history, I’m interested in the arts and all that comes with it: Writing, illustration, theatre, singing, dance, and music, while also looking into natural sciences and conservation because I think it is especially important in these times. 

This is my portfolio that I’ve used to gather and show my artwork, essays, awards, and other items that I'm passionate about.
